  Excellent food! I took my 3 kids (ages 15 to 20) to get a strawberry shake, they have the best shakes in Hays County by the way, and we ended up eating a full meal. The burgers were cooked perfectly as were the add-ons (bacon, onions, peppers, etc). You can customize your burgers with extras like avocado, different types of cheese, pickles, etc. This doesn't seem like a big deal, until you realize the extras are fresh not cut 2 days earlier and stored. I usually can't eat burgers I don't cook at home because I have a very sensitive stomach, but this food didn't leave me feeling bloated or sluggish. The sides were great as well. The sweet potato fries were delicious. You can actually taste the sweet onions in the onion rings! Everything was great! It's a little pricey, but well worth it. My kids are begging me to take them back.

  Great burgers and other sandwiches. Variety of appetizers is small, but tasty. Plenty of seating but parking may be difficult. Nice neighborhood offering with room to grow. A little more expensive than most fast food but so much better. Friendly and helpful wait staff. Nice family run business for families and friends.

  My wife and I have driven by this place a couple times and this time we stopped in for supper. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The place has only been open for five months. Our first impression was the interior needed work, but was satisfactory for a burger place. Our server was extremely nice, informative and welcoming. We ordered an app of fried pickles which came out in a real dish, whereas everything else was served in a basket, styrofoam, or paper. The pickles were okay, but would suggest a different pickle as the batter overshadowed the pickle. We ordered two cheeseburgers (they charged extra for cheddar), two drinks and we shared their "funnel fries" for dessert. The cheeseburgers were really good and fresh and the funnel fries were awesome. We ordered them without the chocolate and strawberries. With tip included, we ended up paying a little more than expected. More than likely won't be visiting again, but it is not because of the service or the quality of the food.

  I would like to say in defense of Big Rob's prices, they are very comparable to any quality burger price anywhere else! The menu does clearly list prices, and when you add appetizers to any mean its gonna raise the price, same as anywhere else! I don't think they are going for a reputation of "just another burger joint" I think they are far better in quality, service and FRESHNESS! For a burger place that's none of those things there is always sonic next store. It's nice to see local people bring a great little non-chain restaurant to town!!!!

  They close at 9 PM and we walk in at 8:58 expecting to hear, "Sorry we'really closed". I apologized and said we understood if too late. They jumped in and asked us to have a seat. Good food. Burgers are big. Bit on the pricey side, but it's supporting a local business and not a chain, so happy to do so. We will return!
